Theses cottage were made at Unit 7, Thurston Granary, Thurston and got there name from the potter who lived at Mudlen End, Felsham Suffolk.
From the information we have model No. 1 was first made in 1966. We believe production continued until 1992. The colour schemes vary as to the pigment available on each run.
There are over 50 different house designs that we know of.

Some are based on the book "Lark rise to Candleford"
